Why you’d do it
- The best kids in the country on the same grid
- A real pathway with a real prize
- Two SoCal rounds plus the final
Why you might not
- The money. Read that number again.
- Three-day weekends, Fridays off school
- Being 30th in a national field teaches different lessons than 3rd in a club
Things to think about
- Ask yourself what a ‘good’ result looks like before you enter
- Most families do one national round as a measuring stick before committing
