What it is
Adams’ off-season league, run by the track itself: three Saturdays over December and January. Adams pitches it as affordable club racing with an “old school feel”. Each round is scored on its own, so missing one doesn’t wreck anything and you can race a single round to try it. Every class has a minimum weight to keep the racing close. The format is practice, qualifying, a heat and a main.
Classes
- Kids: Kid Kart (from age 5), LO206 Cadet, Mini Swift
- 4-cycle (Tillotson): Junior 12–15, Senior 16+, Masters 35+
- Shifters: FZ65 Cadet, FZ85 Junior, FZ125 Senior
It’s the summer AMP So Cal Sprinters list minus Micro Swift. There’s no KA100; for that, look at Tri-C. Masters 4-Cycle is 35+, so a parent can race the same day as the kid.
Dates
2026–27: Saturday Dec 5, Saturday Dec 19 and Saturday Jan 9, all at Adams. Registration is open on Adams’ site. Next winter’s dates (Dec 4, Dec 18, Jan 8) are on Adams’ track calendar but not confirmed yet.

Mechanic and tent fees aren’t included. Adams has only a handful of rental Tillotsons (2 Junior, 2 Senior, 1 Cadet), so book early if you need one.

When is the AMP Winter League?
Three Saturdays at Adams: Dec 5 and Dec 19, 2026, and Jan 9, 2027.
How much is the AMP Winter League?
$125 a round for league members and $150 for non-members, with $50 off if you sign up for all three rounds. Pit passes are $20 and a rental transponder is $25.
Which classes run in the AMP Winter League?
Kid Kart, LO206 Cadet, Mini Swift, Junior, Senior and Masters 4-Cycle (Tillotson), and FZ65, FZ85 and FZ125 shifters. There’s no KA100 class.
Do I have to race every round?
No. Each round is scored on its own, so you can race one, two or all three.
Can I rent a kart for the AMP Winter League?
Yes, but there are only a few: $500 a day for a Tillotson kart, $700 for a mini shifter and $800 for an 85 or 125 shifter.
