Why you’d do it
- Real 2-stroke feel, clutch, power band; the closest rental to owning
- Coached development day before most rounds
- Endurance racing (2–5 hr, teams of 1–3) coming in 2027
Why you might not
- Brand new; small grids and unknowns
- Too young for most kids: 13 minimum
- Not cheap: $495 a race, and Open Testing comes first
Things to think about
- Ask about grid size and how they rotate karts between drivers
Your job as the parent
Senior is 15+, so a parent and a teenager can both run. Karts are theirs to fix.
On my list to try this winter. I’ll report back.
